Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus

Sadly, I judged this book by it's cover & title. Pink cover with a pretty girl...chemistry... I assumed it would be a dumb love story.

BUT based on the hype I gave it a try and am SO glad I did!

The story of a spunky and SMART heroin who refused to be "dumbed down" by the men in her field of chemistry in the 60's.

Full of hilarity & warmth. I totally recommend it!

One Thousand White Women by Jim Fergus

Just finished One Thousand White Women by Jim Fergus.

Wow. I love historical fiction and this one was no exception. Powerful. Beautiful. Terrible (the events, not the book). I highly recommend, but be warned. I found it both lovely and very harsh.

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman

I read this one a while ago but I think I forgot to post it.

Loved it! Cried twice. Literally.

Laughed out loud numerous times.

An incredible story about how tender people can be to each other, but also how monstrous they can be.

I highly recommend it.
